Bobby it guest vocalist on the b-side of the the new Queens of the Stone Age single, 'Make It Wit Chu'.
The song 'Needle in the Camel's Eye' is a cover of a Brian Eno song. The song is avaiable on 7" only
Bobby to play Agent Provacateur Label Launch on December 18th
I presume this means that this marks the release of the labels first release which features Bobby and Dot Allison dueting on
a country song called, "Up against the wall you red neck mother..."
Scream Stars To Play Strummer Anniversary Gig
"Oasis, Primal Scream and Smiths stars are to perform a host of classic Clash songs to mark the fifth anniversary of Joe Strummer's death.
Members of The Happy Mondays and Alabama 3 will also appear at the event at JAMM in London on December 22nd.
•London Calling Remembering Joe Strummer,' has been organised by Geoff Martin, the director of the Left Field Stage at the Glastonbury Festival.
–We wanted to mark the fifth anniversary of Joe Strummer's death with a unique event that marks the positive impact that his life had on so many of us. Brixton JAMM will be the place to be,” he said.
The supergroup, known as the Strummerville Collective, will also feature Jamie T and members of Paul Weller's band.
"Money raised will be shared by Strummerville the Joe Strummer Foundation for new music and RAR08 which will be fighting to stop the BNP in the run up to next May's London elections,” Martin added.
"We also hope to make enough cash to put a bunch of guitars into Brixton prison as part of Billy Bragg's Jail Guitar Doors initiative, in memory of Joe.”

August 24, 2007 Throb is not returning
According to an recently unearthed interview
from May of this year, Robert 'Throb' Young will not be returning to The Scream.
Here is what Bobby said when asked about the addition of Little Barrie:
"I don't think Throb will ever come back.........I'd have him back any day".
August 24, 2007 New Scream album due next year
Bobby appears on 'Word of Mouth' at the
List and is asked about what he thinks of
bands playing along with The Scream at the Connect Festival in September. Here is what he said about his own band:
"...We're working on a new record now, it's fuckin' great. Yep, our new album, it should be out next year.
It fuckin' sounds amazing. What can ye expect? I'm not gonnae tell you. It'll be different from what we've done before though.
Hopefully. We're all very excited about it. Very very excited. We're all confident it's going to be a good record".
August 22, 2007 Scream wow at V Festival
The Scream played a greatest hits set at this years V Festival. The Setlist included 2 new songs (despite what the

reported), one of which is apparently called 'Can't Get Back' (see video clip below), which sounds great!. Apparently the other new track is even better.
They dedicated 'Damaged' to the Tony Wison, founder of Fatory records, who died of cancer last week. Read

is a more rock oriented side project from Thievery Corporation.
Bobby in Hippy Hippy Shock
In a recent article for
Sunday Mail.co.uk,
Bobby reveals that's he's learned to love festivals. He also says that Ian McCulloch from the Echo and the Bunnymen were a big influence on The Scream and that 'The Killing Moon' is one of his all-tome favorite records.
He also tells how he had limited ability on drums when he
was in The Jesus and Mary Chain and hadn't he quit, he probably would have been sacked in time.

The Scream debut new songs
According to Mani, the Scream are due to debut the new songs at the V Festival on August 18th and 19th. Then in a few weeks The Scream
go onto the studio to work on their next album. The Scream already debuted new songs at their recent festival appearances in Scandinavia. They are reportly along the same lines of material from 'Riot City Blues'.

The Scream played Moscow for the first ever on July 7, 2007. Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine) is back playing live with the Scream. I doubt he
will play on The Scream's next album
since apparently Kevin is reforming The Valentines for a new album and tour in 2008.

June 6, 2007 Martin Duffy in new supergroup
Martin Duffy, Primal Scream's longtime keyboardist, is due to play with a new supergroup called The Chavs, on the debut of
Alan McGee's famed club night Death Disco television premiere. The show will be broadcast on
Rockworld.TV on Sky.
The supergroup was formed by former Libertine Carl Barat
with the Charlatans' Tim Burgess and will also feature Razorlights'
Andy Burrows.
June 6, 2007 A full blown Jesus and Mary Chain reunion with Kevin Shields?
Rob Dobbs over at the Some Candy Talking forum says that Douglas Hart mentioned
that himself, Bobby Gillespie and Kevin Shields are to play with a one off band at the Meltdown Festival on June 22, 2007. The Jesus and Mary Chain are also playing this festival.
Sounds like a full blown Jesus and Mary Chain reunion with the addition of Kevin Shields

Primal Scream will release their first live DVD. It's from their recent 'Riot City Blues' tours. It's released on June 25, 2007.
It will also features many of the Scream's videos, another first.
Live from London is the first DVD release from the legendary iconic band, Primal Scream. Released to coincide with the bands 25th anniversary this DVD contains over two hours of concert footage and features all 12 of their promo videos.
Recorded in front of a sell out crowd at Hammersmith this stunning live performance features all their greatest hits and contains the first live performance of "Loaded" in over three years. March 23, 2007 Primal Scream awarded 2007 NME Godlike Geniuses Award NME has given Primnal Scream
the 'Godlike Geniuses' Award. The band were awarded the prize by Mick Jones (the Clash) who also joined them on stage
to rip through The Clash's 1978 single, '(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais.
Primal Scream sign to new record label
Primal Scream has signed a new record deal with B-B-Unique
records, home of The Kaiser Chiefs, The Automatic, The Ordinary Boys.

Primal Scream to play 2007 festival dates

Primal Scream's contract ended with Sony records. The article says several labels are interested in signing the band. UPDATE: This has been confirmed by
Scream Management.
Scream to record new album this year?
According to Bobby in a recent interview for NME, The Scream are hoping to record a new album later this year. Bobby says it will sound nothing like
'Riot City Blues'. Let's hope that Robert "Throb" Young will rejoin the band.
