Whilst at home for xmas i was going through some of my old stuff and found some old tapes.  One of whcih was the evening session from ages ago which featured Death In Vegas doing 'Soul Auctioneer' live with Bobby on live vocals....i think it might've been around the release of Contino Sessions and they got a few of the guests to do the songs live...anyway..just wondered if it was worth me ripping this onto mp3?(once I've worked out how!) or do most folk already have this....its notable becuase Bobby starts singing "bomb the pentagon" at the end of the tune...a few years before he used it on the Scream record(although i realise he might've been playing it live before this)

Realise its no really the done thing to go on about yer own band but i thought folk might be interested in mine.  We've bene going for ten years now and its been a bit of a labour of love.  We were a dodgy shoegaze type band until around the time XTRMTR came out.  Me and the guitarist saw Primal Scream play in Edinburgh and heard 'Swastika Eyes' live for the first time...then spen thte next ten years ripping it off..kinda...but Primal Scream have been a massive influence along with Death in Vegas, Spiritualized and many others....however its the Scream we got compared to the most which was flattering but also a bit OTT.  Anyway, I've put a few tunes in a folder here and thought you folk might fancy a listen..if you think its shite then no worries but maybe there will be something that you like.
Apologies for the self promotion but after 10 years doing it I'd just like to spread the word a bit whilst avoid being pretentious with the "my band" shite...i'm old enough now to know better! 21st Century Rip-off indeed...
