WOW! "City Slang" is one of the best tunes ever made! Can't wait to hear The Scream's version!

I think they should avoid all the Stones-style songs altogether to be honest. The Stones will be playing them! ha, ha! That's the worst thing about the Scream these days - their setlists are so predictable!!! They are supposedly drug-free these days which has improved their live performances I'm sure. Nobody on here would claim they are not on fine form as a live band these days but I'm sure everyone on here would like to see that setlist change a bit more often. People on here are very critical of the band which is fine. I personally don't mind that Riot City Blues or Beautiful Future are not as good as VP or XTRMNTR. They are still good records in my opinion. The setlist thing however, does bother me though!!! The Screamadelica shows were great and Country Girl/Jailbird/Rocks at the end were great and worked well at the end of the Screamadelica stuff but to see them STILL closing with those songs is a bit boring and predictable. Even to see so many Screamadelica songs in the set STILL is a tad boring. I guess what we want and what the band DO are two completely different things!!! It's Alright, It's OK? It's a nice pop song isn't it? BUT they've written that song before haven't they? I thought David Holmes was telling them if they'd written a song before!!! Was Holmesy absent the day they started playing that one? I hate to say it but I think the Scream have become a singles band these days. All their singles are classics and Bobby has never made any secret of wanting to be a star and in the charts BUT we all know their best work (VP and XTRMNTR) wasn't about hit singles. It would seem they can write great pop/hit singles in their sleep but it's the more experimental stuff we crave hey?? It looks like we might be getting that with More Light. Let's hope so. I'm off to see the band play here in Bangkok in May and will no doubt have a ball whatever songs are in the setlist and will no doubt be jumping around to the encore of County yawn Girl, Jailyawnbird and Get your yawns off but it doesn't hurt to speak of what you wish for hey??? It's great they are playing Glastonbury and supporting The Stones but I can guess what songs they will be playing... exactly the same as the last time + 2013, It's Alright with the CG/Jailbird/Rocks trio at the end. RANT OVER!!!

I added an mp3 rip of Darrin on drums from the end of this youtube interview

Sounds like something DJ Shadow would play in his DJ set.

Wake the Town and Tell the People / Another new track live?????

This is definitely "Relativity" at the start of this video. However, if you look/listen at about 4:27 onwards there seems to be another new song unless it is the end of "Relativity" (but I doubt it, it sounds completely different).

Anyway, have a listen and see what you think but it sounds amazing. One of The Scream's more gentle, spaced-out softer moments that we all know and love. Lovely use of the melodica too which we've not heard since Augustus Pablo contributed to "Star."
