Anyone going to this on Sunday?

The line-up looks brilliant - I'm really looking forward to seeing Factory Floor.

Yep - got our tickets.  I reckon FF will be on really early so best get there as close to 3pm as you can.

Cool, will do. I'm not usually in that part of town, but coming from my direction (Hamilton/Blantyre area), I think I'm probably best getting the train to the exhibition centre and then walking it from there.

Weather forecast doesn't look too spectacular, but not too bad either.

Oh, it's all undercover as well so the weather can go take a hike...

Was a good day on Sunday - Factory Floor were amazing, and it was great to finally see Liquid Liquid. Unfortunately I ended up missing most of Alter Ego, which I wasn't too chuffed about, but the rest of the day was great.

Unfortunately, I missed this at the weekend ... Shame as it would have been great to see FACTORY FLOOR again ... caught them earlier this year ... best thing I've seen live in ages!

It was amazing!  The sound for the Optimo bit was magic.  I spoke to Keith (Twitch) and he said FF are gonna release a record on the Optimo label and he's remixing it for the B-side.  They're gonna be back up to play when it comes out, and it'll be a double header with Wasabi Disco in Edinburgh on the Sat night before it.

I guessed it would be a great day out! Aside from seeing less of all you dafties, biggest issue about moving from Glasgow has been significant reduction in great nights out ...  cry

Keith able to confirm likely month for Edinburgh gig? Can't see anything yet on OPTIMO site.

How was last night's Optimo Boat Bash / Warehouse Party? Another missed opporchancity!  cry

I'll let you know as soon as there's a confirmed date for Edinburgh.

The Waverley trip was magic - we won tickets for it as well so saved £60 (couldn't have afforded to go after all the other nonsense over the last couple of weeks).

I'm just uploading a wee video of the boat trip to Vimeo as we speak.

You still good for Neu! (and our tickets)?

FF Edinbro show looking like it'll be the 16th of Oct, as they're on at Glasgow on Sun 17th.

Will they be at Hung Up on the 17th? I'll definitely try and make it to that.

I was on the Waverley the other night as well - it was great fun. All nights out should be water-based.

Great stuff! Weekend double-header, methinks!  afro

Oh, and no worries about NEU! I'll be there and I have tickets for you both.

Speak to you later in the week,

Don't go booking anything yet - it's not 100% confirmed but I'll let you know when it is.
