Tokyo Rocks 27 May 2012

As promised goys...

Working title '2012', minus first 15 secs or so: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fkm4w4evxoik1pv/2012.mp3

Working title 'Relativity': https://www.dropbox.com/s/scz5uorsa04ata5/Relativity.mp3

Not the greatest quality, sorry... and should probably kill these links after a fortnight as they're unreleased songs.

Belengazi x

There is a certain thrill to hear a new track clouded with noise and distortion - After listening to relativity i am excited about this new record coming out.
New tracks sound epic and expansive. Cant wait now
Thanks Jeff for taking the time !. Appreciated

Fantastic work, man!  2012 has a strange atmosphere, sounds like the Stones covering Joy Division - loving the potential here, can't wait for the record and Hop Farm now!

THANKS JEFF, TOP WORK!!!

Love both these tracks and yes they are nice and long and spacious!!!

Let's hope the rest of the album is as good.

I'm hoping for an album of 10 ALBUM tracks with no potential hit singles.......we'll see!

Cheers Jeff, much appreciated. New tunes sound good.

Has Innes found a new guitar sound? Both songs are peppered with a screaching guitar loop, which is different from the Thunders-esque style he often plays.

Also, 'Relativity' has an interesting shift in tempo/style, at 04:02....this chilled out bit of the song sounds like it's inspired by John Barry's 'Midnight Cowboy'? In the background, sounds like Duffy is playing a similar mouth-organ part (or maybe he is back playing the melodica??).

'2012' is quite poppy, wouldn't sound of place on Beautiful Future? Won't hold that against it though.

Think this is going to be the best album since Evil Heat.....which was 10 years ago!
