Anyone read Tim's book "Telling Stories"? Quite an interesting read. Cocaine up the nitty gritter, anyone? Tim talks openly about his love of Felt and of Martin Duffy. Speaks highly of him as a friend and also calls him a musical genius... "The best keyboard player in Britain". Also of interest is he said he popped into see the Scream a lot when they were recording "Vanishing Point".

Currently enjoying the book, and have just found out who's remixing his solo album.  Mental!  Think I'll pop along to Oran Mor for the Glasgow gig.

It's a really lovely album, worth checking out: http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/musicblog/2012/sep/27/tim-burgess-exclusive-album-stream
I'm going along to see him at Aberdeen Lemon Tree on Thursday.

Oh...and here's the Factory Floor Remix of 'White': http://thequietus.com/articles/10075-listen-tim-burgess-white-factory-floor-gabe-gurnsey-remix-oh-no-i-love-you

Gig was great - stripped down, intimate and soulful.....he's playing Manchester Cathedral with strings and choir, that'd be a good one to get along to!

If I've attached pics correctly, you should see Tim's white socks, Duffy and my signed LP...

EDIT: Tried attaching pics (which are under 800kb), but I get this error message: "The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator."   I don't know how the 'Insert Image' option works either. Am I being technologically retarded?

The image thing's a bit shit on here.  I tend to use photobucket or tinypic and use [img] tags to put on here.  Any probs send me them and I'll fire them up :)

Managed to get into the Union Chapel gig last night

It was great, new stuff sounded good, and a couple of nice covers thrown in

The band was Duffy on keys, Mark from the Charlatans on acoustic and 3 of Hatcham Social making up the rest.
The lead guitarist from Hatcham Social was really pulling it out of the hat, great Kevin Shields-ish moments and then ripping out a couple of surprise solos too

Great gig
